DONT PAY your red light tickets…unless you want to..
I hate how the American Legal System is built to fuck everyone and their mother. Therefore I’ve gathered a little bit of knowledge on Loop holes and tequnicalities in the system to get out of the shit they use to own us. I Just got out of my ticket that was issued to me because I crossed an intersection at a red light and one of those Camaras got a picture of me.
IF you ever get a red light ticket because one of those stupid ass camaras snapped a picture of you, you can actually get out of paying the $450 fine. Those camaras are owned by a PRIVATE company, therefore out of the 450 you pay the court, 300 will go to the owners of that company. (this is all thanks to gov. schwarzeneger, he might even own part of that bussiness but WHO KNOWS) Therefor, when you receive your letter in the mail for your red light violation, take it to walk-in court, and when the judge calls your name you tell him/her “After the camara took the picture, I waited for a police officer to give me my ticket but no one ever came. So I left” ——- The letter of the law states that an officer MUST hand you a ticket in order for you to be required to pay a fine, not just a some stupid automated computer camara. Therefore when you get those red light camara tickets, technically you are not required by law to pay the fine unless an officer issued a red light violation ticket after the incident.
This is something they dont want you to know. But I believe everyone should.
